The ProPen
P3000 Micro-Percussion marking machine comes with "P01"
an integrated marking program that allows for the creation of
templates which control the text to be marked on a tag or other
item.
The "P01"
integrated software allows an operator to create text in the
following configurations:
Linear, angular and circular marking
Inverted, mirrored, reflected marking
Serial numbers
Production Codes
The PW05
Windows Enhanced Marking Software takes all
of the abilities of the P01 software and gives it a (GUI) graphical
user interface. Having a graphical interface makes
the designing of your tags more intuitive and user-friendly.
The PW05
software also allows for the offline creation and storage
of a limitless number of different templates. Password controls
allow you to restrict access to the various menus in the program,
as well as restricting who is allowed to create tags with the
Pro-Pen machine.

The (GUI)
graphical user interface of the PW05 Windows Enhanced Marking
Software allows for quick and easy creation of your marking
templates. Each the fields required for marking a line of text,
have prompts shown on the software interface screen. Just enter
the desired text on the first line, enter and its starting X
and Y coordinates and indicate its character size.

You
can visually verify the look of each template before loading
it into the machine, by clicking on the "eye" button
in the upper toolbar on the configuration page. This allows
for subtle tweaking of the template program without the waste
and expense of doing multiple tests using actual tags or materials.

Another
excellent feature of the PW05 software program is that it gives
you the ability to include logos and graphics in your markings!
