Apex II

For applications requiring bar code reading, the Apex II with either the integrated laser scanner or a tethered scanner, plus the ability to decode all popular symbologies, offers a cost effective way to maximize your productivity. Ideal for scan-intensive applications the design of the integrated scanner which positions it at a 35 angle, which allows the operator to view the display at all times.

These features along with a 4-line x 16-character display and full alphanumeric keyboard (which eliminates the need for a shift key) contribute to the enhanced throughput and user comfort of the Apex II.

Apex III

Apex Portable Data Collection Terminals are designed to withstand real-world punishment and still retain the valuable data that has been collected. Due to their industrial strength polycarbonate construction, all Apex terminals are designed to withstand a 4 ft drop to concrete, as well as being chemical and splash resistant.

Compsee's line of keyboard wedges provides the user the easiest and fastest way to implement a bar code system. When added to existing terminals and applications software, both the speed and accuracy of data input is greatly improved.

A device which plugs directly between the terminal keyboard and display, a bar code, magnetic stripe and/or ASCII data input, via the wedge emulates and complements keyboard entry into the user's present software.

The technicians and engineers at Compsee have learned through years (17+) of installing keyboard wedges, the varied requirements of the user, and in turn design and manufacture the most versatile wedges on the market. With the primary goal of reducing and, in some cases, eliminating operator key entry, numerous features have been designed into the wedge products.
